Shira Stone, LMFT, Committed to Your Growth

I received my BA from Antioch West in San Francisco, California and my MA in psychology from The University of Humanistic Studies in San Diego California. I became licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in 1992, and have worked with a wide variety of clients in private practice as well as in psychiatric hospitals. I have been a program manager at Rubicon Programs in Richmond, California, as well as a clinical supervisor at John F. Kennedy University in Oakland, California.

One of the most important gifts I bring to my clients is the successful process of my own healing journey, a journey with its own measure of personal pain and struggle.  My personal path of healing laid the way for a passion and appreciation for helping others with the transformative power of deep therapeutic work. In my years as a psychotherapist, I have come to provide a safe and powerful anchor for my clients, I love helping others release the past conditioning that holds them back, so they can come to a place of self-love and appreciation.
